Patsy Palmer calls for role on iconic ITV show after Celebrity Big Brother (2025)

Patsy Palmer has her eyes on a brand new role after leaving EastEnders.

The actress, 52, is currently living in theCelebrity Big Brotherhouse alongside Corrie favouriteJack P. Shepherd, internet sensation Jojo Siwa and talk show host Trisha Goddard – who she’s already clashed with.

The two seem to have found differences between their lives in home cities Los AngelesandNew York – despite neither being US natives, being born less than 2 miles from one another in East London.

In the diary room, Trisha explained: ‘My first nomination is Patsy. She, as a Brit, lived in LA. I’m from New York and LA people are kinda more all about the crystals and the vibes and all that.

‘New York people tend to be, generalisation, “let’s get it done, let’s not mess about.” As lovely and sweet as [Patsy] can be, maybe [she’s] just too fragile.’

The pair, alongside Jack, are facing the public vote in tonight’s eviction, with Patsy already claiming that she’d be happy to escape Big Brother’s watchful eye as she misses her kids, who live in Malibu.

She received the most nominations (six) from her fellow housemates, whilst Jack and Trisha each received four.

She’s currently on our screens twice-nightly, as her final EastEnders story is playing out.

Viewers of the BBC soap have seen her character Bianca Jackson have an almighty fall-out with sister Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) after she sold a story about killer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) to the press.

The pair made amends in yesterday’s instalment, but soon faced a new hurdle – Sonia’ estranged dad Terry (Glen Davies) has arrived.

Patsy has eyes on the cobbles…

With her final scenes fast approaching, Patsy has now suggested that she ‘switch allegiances’ – and move to Coronation Street.

She joked with Jack that she could swap the Square for the cobbles, and become his new wife!

We think Shona (Julia Goulding) might have something to say about that…

As they chatted in the kitchen, Patsy asked for a traditional Northern phrase that she could pick up.

Jack suggested trying: ‘Let’s have a bit of cake and some tea’, and seemed seriously impressed by her accent.

When entering the house, Patsy revealed that she couldn’t let Bianca go after 32 years of playing the character.

She’s starred in a number of other shows – including The Bill, Grange Hill and Gimme Gimme Gimme, but will forever be rowdy Bianca Jackson.

‘I think fans might think I’m quite feisty because of Bianca but I’m not really, I’m quite a calm person’ she revealed.

‘[Bianca] can’t get her life together. She’s in fight or flight. I’m not in fight or flight.

‘I’m not really zen, but I do like to try my best to follow that way of life, which is so different from the drama in her life!’
